Below you will find one of Travelplan’s most popular group tour packages that have been developed especially for clients interested in the most popular 7-12 days circuits based on a combination of cultural and adventure program, featuring the beauty of national parks, rich cultural heritage and historical monuments.

The diversity of activities on the coast and on the islands offer numerous possibilities that give us the chance to create a completely new experience, professionally adapted to clients’ wishes and profile.

We will be happy to customize a package for your group according to participants’ wishes with possible arrival or departure to/from Venice, Vienna, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Podgorica or Tivat in Montenegro, Belgrade, Zagreb, Pula, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik.

Day 1

Venice - Bled (300 km)
> Arrival at Venice airport
> Transport to beautiful Bled Lake, situated in the Julian Alps.
> Welcome drink and check-in at hotel
> Lunch ( optional )
> Visit to the Bled Castle and boat ride in the traditional “pletna”-boat, an old-fashioned wooden rowing boat, to the only Slovenian island where there is a church with its famous wishing bell.
> Options include taking a carriage ride around the lake or going to one of the patisseries to taste “Kremsnite” cream cakes, a delicious local desert, symbolic of Bled.

Day 2

Bled - Zagreb (150 km)
> Breakfast at the hotel
> Departure for Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, and sightseeing: the medieval castle, numerous Baroque buildings, picturesque bridges spanning the Sava river.
> Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the Cathedral, the two high bell towers of which have become the symbol of Zagreb; St.Mark’s Church with its unique and picturesque ceramic-tile roof featuring Croatian coats of arms; the Stone Gate, the entrance to the Upper Town; the Lotrscak Tower.
> Lunch at restaurant Vinodol
> Free time for walking around, shopping, etc, depending on participants’ preferences

Plitvice National Park & Welcome to Sarajevo (350 km)

> In the afternoon, a city tour of Sarajevo, including visit to Bascarsija and Turkish bazaar.

Sarajevo - Mostar (130 km)

> Departure to Mostar, famous for its stone arch bridge (UNESCO-heritage). The elegant bridge was built on the River Neretva and completed by the Ottoman architects in 1566. The reconstructed Mostar Bridge was opened in July 2004.
> Visit to the Old Bazaar of Mostar, to the Turkish house, one of the many old Mosques and other oriental cultural monuments.

Dubrovnik City Tour

> This unique, fortified city is surrounded by 2 km of walls with towers built between 11th and 17th century.
> A highly recommended activity is to walk down the city’s main street, Stradun, visit the Rector’s palace, the church of St. Vlaho, the Cathedral, the Franciscan monastery housing one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe (14th century).

Dubrovnik - Montenegro (200 km)

> Full day excursion to Montenegro, which offers an unforgettable experience, exceptional natural beauty in combination with a rich history and culture.
> Drive around the Kotor Bay with its numerous small settlements, visit to Cetinje, once the central town of the Montenegrin rulers, Sveti Stefan and Budva.

Dubrovnik - Korcula Island - Makarska (100 km)

> Sightseeing of cultural and historical monuments of the island with a licensed English-speaking guide.
> One of the most beautiful medieval cities on the Adriatic, the city of Korcula, is considered to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo.

> Coach ride to Makarska, the center of the surrounding region known as Makarska Riviera.

> Of the ancient palace, the gates, the cellars, the Peristyle, the emperor’s mausoleum (the present day cathedral) still stand
